Dear Mr. President

February 24, 2011

Do you remember when you said this in 2007?

"If American workers are being denied their right to organize and collectively bargain when I’m in the White House, I will put on a comfortable pair of shoes myself, I’ll will walk on that picket line with you as President of the United States of America. Because workers deserve to know that somebody is standing in their corner."

I hope you have your staff working diligently to find those shoes because workers rights are under attack in Wisconsin. If you are really a leader then now is the time for you to be in front of the people who want to follow you.

And while you are waiting for those shoes, do something useful with your time, declare an immediate end to your shitty little war in Afghanistan. We can't afford an empire.
