The Washington Post says that you and your military commanders disagree on the size of the troop withdrawal this summer. The Petraeus Gang, in effect, does not want to withdraw anyone. You need not fight them, you are Commander-in-Chief. If they do not agree with you they can assume their new post in East Elephantbreath, Montana or begin to enjoy their retirement.
The easy way is to declare an end to your shitty little war in Afghanistan and order them to bring everyone home with all deliberate speed. You can do it sir, you are the President.
